Simone E. Hanson

EDUCATION

Ms. Hanson received her Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. During her first year of law school, she was awarded the Dean’s Distinguished Achievement Scholarship in recognition of her academic accomplishments and personal dedication to community and service. During law school, Ms. Hanson worked in the school’s legal clinic where she represented members of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians on matters including child custody, probate, guardianship, and misdemeanor crimes in the Kalispel Tribal Court. Prior to law school, Ms. Hanson received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Utah.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Hanson is an associate attorney with the firm. Her areas of interest include construction, real estate, insurance, employment, and other related areas of commercial law. Ms. Hanson began her legal career as a paralegal for a boutique firm in Salt Lake City where she assisted counsel in various real estate matters. Before attending law school, Ms. Hanson worked as a legal secretary for the Office of the Utah Attorney General from 2014 to 2017, where she assisted counsel to various state agencies, including Administrative Rules, Division of Facilities and Construction Management, Capitol Preservation Board, the Labor Commission’s Uninsured Employer Fund, and State Records Committee, among many others. Prior to joining Fetzer Booth as an associate, Ms. Hanson worked for the firm as a summer intern after her first year of law school.
