Bryan H. Booth

Bryan represents construction companies, sureties, and property owners in litigation matters related to mechanic’s liens, bond claims, and payment claims.  Bryan also represents businesses in a wide array of industries in commercial disputes.  


Bryan became a shareholder at Fetzer Simonsen Booth & Jenkins in 2006.  From 1996 through 2006, Bryan was a shareholder at a large law firm in Salt Lake City.  Bryan has significant experience in commercial disputes, particularly related to the construction industry.  Additionally, Bryan specializes in real property title disputes, real estate lending, debt collection, landlord/tenant issues, and insurance defense and coverage matters.


Bryan is a graduate of Duke University School of Law.  During law school, Bryan served as a Symposium Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law.  Bryan holds a bachelor of science degree (cum laude) in Business Management with an emphasis in International Finance from Brigham Young University.  


Bryan is the author of “Prudence or Paranoia: Considering Stricter Regulation of the International Over-The-Counter Derivatives Market,” Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law, 5 Duke J. Comp. & Int’l L. 449.  Bryan has presented seminars for National Business Institute, Inc. and the Construction Law Section of the Utah State Bar related to mechanic’s liens, wrongful liens, and ethical and professional responsibilities.  Bryan has been certified as a real estate continuing education instructor and has presented on legal topics for the Utah Apartment Association.   


Bryan is a member and past chairman of the Construction Law Section of the Utah State Bar.  In 2011 and 2012, Bryan was voted by his peers as “Utah’s Legal Elite” in Construction Law.  Bryan's most recent honor was being selected to the 2013 thru 2015 Mountain States Super Lawyers list.   

Bryan was honored in December 2014 by the Salt Lake Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society for his Pro Bono Legal Service provided in 2014.
