Brooke Ashton

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Ashton is a shareholder at Fetzer Simonsen Booth & Jenkins and was previously a partner at The Franchise & Business Law Group.  Her practice areas include: business law, franchise law, contracts, estate planning, and other related fields of law. Ms. Ashton enjoys offering first class legal guidance to businesses and individuals in a small firm environment. Her goal is to provide valuable legal knowledge with a business perspective. She works directly with entrepreneurs to prepare the legal framework on which their business ideas and concepts can grow and thrive. She has had the opportunity to plan, design and implement dozens of franchise and other distribution/license programs, working directly with the clients to ensure their legal documents reflect their vision.    

EDUCATION

Ms. Ashton received her Juris Doctor degree in 2006 from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky. during law school she was awarded the Provost Fellowship and received the Cali Award for Trusts and Estates. Prior to attending law school, she attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2000. She was awarded a Presidential Scholarship from the University of Utah and was on the Dean's List from 1997-2000.
